Monstablokaz U.S.A. proudly presents a work of art that will change the way fans of a uniquely
soulful genre looks and listens to what we know as HIP HOP! No different than any other form
of music, Hip Hop has many faces and sounds and since it first burst on the national scene in
1979 with Rappers Delight by the Sugar Hill gang, it metamorphosized and camouflaged it’s way
into main stream society by staying true to itself and at the same time making itself welcomed by
all who cared to embrace it and understand it. Well, now, it’s ready to take another step forward
with the infectious sound from Addis and the group, F.Y.I.!
In a move born out of forward thinking and the desire to evolve this genre another generation,
Addis brings you his debut single, “Stay Strong”. A song designed to please the lyrical hounds,
move the beat heads and provide ingredients that suit the tastes of everyone in between. Referred
to as “International Hip Hop”, the purpose of this single and the F.Y.I. project is to not represent
any particular region of the country, east coast, west coast, dirty south or otherwise but to come
from the middle of the earth. This album could play in a nightclub in Prague while at the same
time play in LA, Chicago, Atlanta and New York.
