The new Addis Single, “DISCO,” feat. FYI,  continues it’s run on the Internet Radio platform. We are happy to see this week’s #3 entry on Urban/HipHop Internet Radio amongst major artists like DRAKE, TREY SONGZ, NICKI MINAJ and RICK ROSS. We appreciate all Stations and DJ’s who give us this major push, because they believe in this record. We have counted over 1,800 online spins in 2 weeks, which is a phenomenal start for our first independent release!!

NEW SINGLE – Addis feat. FYI “Disco” – This weeks #2 most added on Internet Radio

The new Single “Disco” had a great start on internet radio this week. We #2, right behind the multi-platinum artist Usher, who reached this weeks pole position with his new Hitsingle “DJ Got Us Fallin’ In Love” feat. Pitbull. Internet Radio is one of the most important new platforms when it comes to breaking new records and we are thrilled that so many stations believe in our new release.

Addis says:

We just started blastin’ out this record a few weeks ago and we’ve gotten so much positive feedback from DJ’s all around the world, it’s crazy!! Internet Radio is such an important platform in these days, i’m excited that we get the support that we hoped for. Monstablokaz Presents The Official Stay Strong Video

Monstablokaz is proud to present the video for the B-Side Single for “STAY STRONG”, by Addis. Addis mentioned: “We had tons of fun shootin’ the video in our hometown Orlando, FL. The crew did a great job and we want to thank all parties involved.”

Monstablokaz USA wants to extend the thanx to the “Littlefield” family, who helped us out with the locations. Also to all the kids, parents and actors that showed up and made it an excellent experience.

The whole team wants to give special thanx to the Director Aden Bahadori, the Producer Davin Black and the DoP Robert Scarborough, who worked very hard to get this video done in a major way.

Addis worked with the 235films family from Toronto on more than 10 music videos and we love the way they visualize our songs. Also shout out to Harv Glazer who’s always showin’ love when it comes to our music.

Addis had this to say about the concept for the Stay Strong video:

“The day we  produced the record, we wanted to put out a positive message for all the people who are in a certain situation that makes them feel like givin’ up in life. And let’s be real, we all have been in a situation like that at least once and could have used some words that help us get back on our feet and make things happen. So me and Aden Bahadori, who’s a close friend of mine, came up with that storyline that shows multiple people in different situations that make them feel either depressed or like a failure in life.

The kids symbolize the “hope” and the fresh, unbiased inner child in us, that lets us forget about the trials and tribulations in life. The Director Aden Bahadori was able to tie all these stories together at the end of the video, making sure that the viewer understands, no matter in what situation you find yourself in, there’s a way out, and sometimes it’s even closer than you think.

My personal goal was to portrait “HOPE” with this video in an artistic way. And i believe we did a great job with this video for STAY STRONG”

Back In Florida!

After a very productive week in Chicago, which included some time at Power 92 and doing some sight seeing, the Monstablokaz CEO returned to Florida today and is happy to announce that the songs we released on our new website have gotten incredible feedback from all around the world so far.

Thanks to all the fans for the incredible messages and emails showing love for what we are doing.

With “Stay Strong” and “Disco” heating up the airwaves more and more and with “Nowhere 2 Run” as a Street Single that makes your speakers knock like no other, we are all looking forward to world premier the video for “STAY STRONG” tomorrow (July 9th, 2010, 12pm ET). Monstablokaz In Chicago – Extended Stay

Hey guys, since we’ve received this incredible feedback…i decided to stay 2 more days in Chicago and have some more big meetings. I have some surprises for you in the making, so make sure you keep checkin’ this website every day.

I also found the time to see one of the best public sculptures in the world. The famous Chicago CLOUD GATE aka “THE BEAN”!!
It reflects the Chicago Skyline and makes this one of the most impressing things I have ever seen in my life. If you don’t know about it it, check it out, it’s definitely worth the trip to Chicago!

Disco Live On Power 92 Chicago

Addis Live in Chicago For Taste of Chicago

Addis, aka Raptile, is currently in “Chi-town” for the world famous “TASTE OF CHICAGO”. The “TASTE OF CHICAGO” is the world’s largest food festival, held annually for 10 days in Chicago starting Friday before the 4th of July.

This event also plays host to the biggest music artists in the business and this year it was TREY SONGZ, an old friend of Addis, who was the main act on the main stage.

Addis noted:

“It was impressing how Trey Songz developed as an artist. His live show was incredible and he rocked the crowd. I’m really proud that I was able to work with him (Raptile feat. Trey Songz “Missin’ Ur Kisses”) and it’s good to see great talent like him on top!! “

Monstablokaz Wants The Music Industry and Their Fans To Stay Strong

Addis and the Monstablokaz crew have pushed over 500,000 worldwide units, have appeared on national reality tv and have held down both their country and their new hometown. Now they are set to take on a new music industry, nearly 3 years after they first were on top of the game.

The new Monstablokaz USA is launching on the heels of seasoned veteran Addis, aka Raptile, and his cross-over lead single, Stay Strong. The music is radio ready, street approved and was built to create a movement and change in the stagnant music industry.

Basing their operation in Orlando, FL, Addis wants to welcome everyone to a new era for both Monstablokaz fans and artists stating, “We got new music, new artists and a new team including a new approach towards the new music industry.“

With frequent collaborator, Lionezz, and an Orlando home team favorite Viper, Monstablokaz is stronger than ever.
